Navy For Moms

Hi everyone,
My son has been in BC for a week now. Just got his "form" letter that informed me of his ship/division. Anyone else have a recruit with the same ship/divsion?
Would love to hear from you.
Laurie :-)

Hello Laurie,
I just got the news of our grandson's ship/division. He arrived on the 20th from SC where he was for the last 6 months. Prior to that he was a lifelong, 17 1/2 year resident of the MS gulf coast where we still reside. He wrote to his fiance' who is my source of information. She's good about getting in contact with us as soon as she hears something. While I'm thinking about it is their street address 3420 or 3520 Sailor Drive, GL 60088-3520. His fiance' gave me 3420 Sailor Dr with zip code of 60088-3520. I'm a little confused because the zip and numerical address do not match.
Hope to keep with you and be able to share what is happening.
Chayo :-)

Greetings,
So have you received a "real" letter from your grandson? All I've gotten is the "form" letter. I haven't spoke to him since the day he got in and that was only for 2min.
Are you planning on going to the graduation? Not sure If I'll be able to make it. I'm out in southern california. But we'll see what happens.
Have a good rest of the week.
Laurie :-)

Hi-
MAN this is really hard. Haven't heard from Brandon since he arrived. Only got to speak to him for about 2 minutes and his "form" letter was just that. They have a very tiny section to write alittle something. I run to mailbox and sleep with the phone everyday. Are you going to the graduation? I too have been sending letters like crazy. I'm having his brothers (2) and his sister do the same. But with them in school again it's hard to do. I just send them all off at once. Hoping that I receive a REAL letter here soon. But not holding my breath, Brandon is not really a letter writter.
We all need to hang in there together.
Talk to you soon,
Laurie
