Hello everyone!! I'm new here, not really sure how to use it. My son leaves tomorrow morning for BC. My heart is broken, trying to stay strong for him. My daughter also joined the Navy and is leaving in 3 weeks, Sept 6. Really hard as a mother to see her babies go

They will usually ask you your son's rate (job he chose) and they will send you helpful information and other groups to join on the site. Hang in there mom. Yup..when you go to" my page" at top...it will list what groups you joined and friends you accepted. It took me awhile to navigate and figure out!!

Oh my; two children leaving in short a time span. How difficult for you but how proud you are as well I am sure. I will think of many good thoughts for you all and am sure they will do amazing things!!

Thank you, so hard

I know how you feel. My oldest son is in Pensacola now. He had his PIR in July. My younger son ships out Sept 26th. it is hard to see your babies go. You sort of realize that that they will never really live at "home" again. But feel so proud of them. My oldest called me today and I could tell from his voice that he is in a happy place. Meeting new friends that he will have for a lifetime. This a wonderful group that can answer so many questions that you might have concerning your babies.
