I am still waiting for the letter with his address. I have 3 letters waiting to post. It's hard to figure out where he might be in processing because of the holiday. It's so frustrating not knowing....I'm a planner and have to know! I keep telling myself that no news is good news. I don't know if the SR's get news but I'd like him to know that his GF and I are safe and the earthquake we had didn't cause us damage.

Has anyone who's SR left that week heard anything?

Catherine,

I received a letter from him yesterday. An actual letter. Not the form letter. On the back of the paper it said if you are reading this I passed my PFA time! My kid and his sense of humor. But, he wrote it before taking the PFA. He wrote it on the 25th so hopefully the form letter will come soon. The holidays and the death of George WH Bush stalled mail longer than normal. So, hopefully you will hear something very soon. It will be interesting to see what divisions all the recruits fall into.

Hang in there... it's coming!

KyMom

Catherine,

according to the website PIR for my SR is 1/18/19

KyMom, I got the form letter and a personal letter yesterday.  I filled out the clearance form and will be sending that in today.  I joined the PIR group for 1/18/19 and even booked my tickets!  That boy better graduate on time :)

My daughter left 2 days later on 11/21. I'm still wairing as well. I was hoping today but if you still havent gotten yours, I'm guessing that will be a no. Please update me as well and hopefully I'll just be a few days behind you. Is there any chance they will have the same PIR date?

Any, it possible they would have the same PIR date!  I am so anxious to get that letter.  I have several things on hold at work waiting to get the travel date!

I'm ready to get the address, the date, and even a group of us that will be there the same time so I can see what everyones plans are going to be.

Catherine, Amy,
unless there is something that holds them back they should all have the same PIR Date.

See my reply to Catherine about 7 minutes ago.

KyMom, no, that may not be true. Most who arrived the week of 11/19/2018 will have PIR on 01/18/2019 if they passed the run portion of the baseline PFA, but some of those who arrived on 11/19/2018 or 11/20/2018 will have PIR on 01/11/2019 because they were placed in one of the last divisions of the TG from the week before.

I got the form letter today and is div. 079. PIR is 1/18...now to maje plans.

Awesome!  I booked my flight today and also got a call from my SR.  A good day :)

Hi, my daughter also left on 11/21. I haven’t heard from her either. It is somewhat comforting to realize this is normal, but I will continue to watch my phone and mailbox daily until I hear from her. I know this is what she wanted though and believe she is ok.

Hi my husband left 11/19 , I got my first letter on Monday! I hope you got to hear from your son and let him know you guys are safe.
