Hello Pam! Deployment with the Army. That's a new one for me. I thought they had their own medics. Wow. Where would the other military branches be if it wasn't for our corpsman!

Hi ladies, I just wanted to stop by and say "hello" to my FMTB moms!!! I hope all of your sons/husbands/boyfriends are doing well. I send my best wishes to them all. Curtis called the other day to say that he is an alternate for deployment with an Army unit. I will keep you posted.

Melina ~ Have you asked the same question in the Corpsman Mom's group? There might be someone there with the same FMTB date. It's worth a try. I hope you find someone. Just remember, we're still here for you!

CalifNat, As long as he hasn't started FMTB, he can leave on all weekends. He can also requests leave time, if he wanted to leave before Friday afternoon.

CalifNat...There is a graduation (I didn't go) and I hear it is very nice. Chase has been at 29 Palms since May 24th. He didn't like it at first but now he does. While they are doing FMTB they can leave base. They have evenings and weekends off unless there is training, mandatory study or watch. I don't know when he starts training but they can't leave base for the weekends till they pass their first 2 tests so as long as he doesn't class up on the 1st he should be ok.
