Highwood is not far from GL and has GREAT restaurants. Do a Google search for highwood il restaraunts
One of my favorites is Washington Gardens: alexswashingtongardens.com/
Bertucci's is always good: www.bertuccisitaliansteakhouse.com
You might also want to check out Hotel Moraine 700 N. Sheridan , Highwood, IL if yu are looking for someplace a bit nicer to stay.

Thanks for posting our pic so quickly, Annie! I just had the best time last night... so glad we were able to put it all together! I also want to say what a joy this website has been. I have met some of the most wonderful N4M women and their families on Tiger Cruise and again last night. We talked about another get-together after the holidays, perhaps on a Friday night or a Saturday so we can pull in some other Chicago Moms who can't make it on a week night.

I'm not that familiar with the area around Great Lakes NS... perhaps if she posted in the General Blogs she'd get a better response since there have been so many families that have recently attended PIR.

Does anyone have any advise for Robin - wesleysmom2009 about the question she posted Wednesday night? I don't know that area, but hopefully someone can offer up suggestions.

Nice to meet everyone and share stories. I've said for a year now that this group has gotten me through the tough time of letting go, but to see how far Dan has come and the support I have gotten here has been incredible. Hope to get to know all of you even better!
