Oh how funny you are...Is it raining in Oak Lawn - poor Annie - LOL

The traffic was very bad today and everyone was driving like they just don't know how. Its rain - oh boy can't wait to see how this traffic wil be when it snows....LOL

Michelle, LOL well maybe you and I need to send cards to each other. LOL Yes I think that is a boy thing!

Well lets set something up for January as long as the weather holds outs. It was so nice meeting everyone cannot wait to do it again.

Debbie - Listening I'm telling ya this is a first........I don't get cards either! Hey what is up with that? They see us buy them and give them out - it so must be a boy thing.....What does anyone else think?????

Paula that was so nice, even tho I love my son I don't think he would think of sending flowers I don't even get a card, but he does call, poor me!!!! LOL

Thanks Annie! I had a great time editing and adding photos (which are in the actual magazine publication). He was thrilled to get published.

That's so cool, Michelle! Yes, I think being away from home in the company of shipmates who are also missing their families makes a huge impact. The Mother's Day during Holly's first deployment, she sent me flowers with a note, "Hi Mom... found these flowers floating around out in the ocean and thought you would like them!" I still have the card on my refrigerator. Hope you had a Happy Birthday!! I quit having them!

I hope everyone is had a great weekend! Congrats Diane - What Great news - you must be so proud!

Well Ladies I have to tell you this - My birthday was yesterday - ouch another year older. I told my younger son - we have to up my age now from 38 to 40/42 just to make things sound good - Adam here in pic is turning 23 and just to make everything balance out correctly...hahahahahahah

But my point Adam sent flowers and balloon to my office so I would have it...... I was soooooo surprise that he would even think to do it. I have gotten flowers from my kids but not in years when someone else took and paid for them. I love the Navy - guess he maybe does miss his Mom.
