OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Keeping you in prayer today. Believing for a miracle to occur. God has a plan and I pray that it will prevail. May He hold you in His strong right hand and shelter you.  In Jesus' Name.

ArmyNavyMarineMom-- I'm sure you won't see these today but know that you are in our prayers and that we are praying for you to be comforted as you lay your Marine to rest and we pray that this will bring about reconciliation with your other children.  We mourn with those who mourn!! May God's peace be upon you today and in the coming weeks and months!

You have been in my prayers all week ANMmom. Praying for you today as you bury your sweet son. I won't say you are saying your goodbyes as you never will. He will always be in your heart.

Prayers for you as we proceed on with this new year and whatever blessings and promises the Lord has for us~ Hold on to your sweet memories of your parents and other loved ones. I like to make the recipes my Mommy used to make and the way she would make scrambled eggs for me (mixing up the yolks and whites in the frying pan), making macaroni & cheese with the large spoons she always used for that, and just thinking of her.  It's been 16 years since she passed away on the last day of December in 2001~~

My youngest daughter is a 2001 baby and she's in 11th grade this year.  I've homeschooled her all her life. She just started dual enrollment at our local community college and is doing well! I also homeschooled my 2 oldest girls since they were in 4th and 3rd grades.  My oldest is my Navy baby, an IT and she is doing fantastic!

NavyArmyMarineMom, may God continue to fill you with peace. I am praying for you and will especially lift you up as your son's body comes home and you say your final good-byes.

Chipmunk, thank you for all that you shared. What a precious blessing it would be if you were able to be with NavyArmyMarineMom during this time.

I just love this amazing group of sisters in Christ who are committed to bearing one another's burdens and sharing each other's joys.

NavyArmyMarineMom, you are in my prayers and thoughts, and will be especially on Saturday.  I pray that some sort of reconciliation will take place with your daughter and others who you may want to reconnect with, at least on talking terms.  I always fall back on, “The Lord never gives us more then we can handle” when things get tough, and that he is always there beside us, as the poem, “Footprints in the Sand” remind us.

Chipmunk, what a beautiful gesture, wanting to be there for her at her son’s funeral.  She needs all the support we can give her.   I wish I lived closer to support ArmyNavyMarineMom in person, as well, but living on the East Coast makes that very difficult.  Losing both your mom and dad in such a short period of time, couldn’t have been easy, and I pray for you as well, that “time” will help heal the pain you are still feeling.

(((HUGS))) to both of you, during difficult times and in between.
