OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Rachel,

Lifting up your SR!

Chipmunk, I nearly took a job that would have had me in Oklahoma City during that era. God had other plans, though. Thank you for sharing!

Rachel, praying for your SR

Rachel, praying for you and your son to not feel discouraged, but to trust in the Lord that everything will turn out to be just as it is supposed to be with a positive outcome.

Rachel, I just prayed for your son that he would not get discouraged and lose heart, but that the Lord would give him strength and that he would remember that "he can do all things through Christ who gives him strength".

Just like erveone else that is here, my SR needs some uplifting words. He has been set back because of missing the run and his letter this week was so positive. Speaking to him today left me feeling discouraged but I keep telling myself that he just hadn't spoken to us in a while so he felt home sick. He was off by 17 seconds on his final PFA and practice today had made it down by 9 seconds. I know he can do it but just feeling discouraged tonight. Thanks for reading.

Missed all of you sisters! Retired, moved, and lost all my contacts in the process. :( Thank you CatMom509 for your encouragement. GOD is good...

Happy Friday!

"I will thank you, Lord, among all the people.

I will sing praises among the nations.

For Your unfailing love is as high as the heavens.

      Your faithfulness reaches the clouds.

Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens.

May Your glory shine over all the earth."

                                                        Psalm 57:9-11
