Tammie, how exciting!! I was watching YouTube videos this morning of the ship coming in. Always tugs at my heart - such a sight to behold. You were so lucky to be able to be there in person. :-D

Congratulations Lisa to you and Aaron!! I new he could it!! God Bless him!!
Just got back from a great trip to San diego to see my baby!! SO COOL!! Seeing her ship come in was so very American!! Tears Tears Tears!!! What a sight!! We so enjoyed seeing our Sami!! She was sure happy to get off that ship!! In fact all 350 of them were happy to get off that ship!! God Bless them!! We were able to tour the ship and Lord I was happy to get off after just 1 hour!!! Not my thing!! I don't know how they do it!! Well better get busy around here I have work up to my eyes!! Looking forward to Nov 7th!!!

HELLO... wonderful Colorado Moms, the Nov 7 Love Box party is just around the corner and we need all the help we can get to stuff up some Christmas Stockings. We have Avon items, CD's, Starbucks coffee, and some other goodies, but we need lots more Stockings (12" ones per Miss Tammie) and toys and other goodies to fill them with. I know we have cards and letters coming but more is always better. Please pop out to the event page and RSVP so we have an idea how many are coming. Looking forward to seeing lots of Navy families with full bags and busy hands.....Come on Colorado let's show Miss Molly and her Adopt-A-Sailors where the love flows from....

I just got a call from Aaron. He does BS this sunday and monday with Ship 10 Div 367. He will be on hold for A school until the 30th so he has Liberty everyday and has to be back at the barracks every evening. He will not be going through PIR at all.
I am going there on the 29th thru the 1st. We can spend the entire time together.
I am so excited.

Aaron will be doing A-school in GL

Aaron will do BS on the 26th. He might just go straight to A school in GL instead of PIR on the 30th. I was hoping to see the ceremony since I am going anyway. But at least he passed and is enjoying life right now waiting for BS.

Congrats to both you and Aaron, Lisa. The last couple of weeks in BC are not easy. I am sure he will do fine in BS. Hopefully he will get a bit of rest before then as BS is an all nighter.
