Congratulations Chris! What an honor, no wonder you're "Proud Mom of Mike"!!

On another note, I apologize for not getting the check for mailing boxes in the mail - we've been dealing with family health issues. I'm off work next week, so hopefully will catch up on things I've promised people I would do. Thanks again, and more congratulations to you and your family!

I would love to send something, except he got shipped to Ballston Spa a week ago. Go figure. At least when he reports to Newport Rhode Island mid Feb. it's only a 4 hour drive. Thanks so much for offering though.

Postage News - first I was wrong (Yippee) and the boxes should ship for 11.95 each. Second I am working with Qwest Pioneers and hopefully they going to pay to ship all of the boxes to Afghanistan. A BIG thank you and lots of {{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}} goes out to Lori who came and helped pack boxes on Saturday. She is our Angel who contacted Qwest Pioneers about paying to ship our boxes.

HAPPY NAVY MOMMA!!!!! We just got the call that Mike was picked up for the STA-21 program (Seaman to Admiral). The results were suppose to be out by Oct. 30, but finally showed up this afternoon. He will be going to Oregon State University to get his degree in Nuclear Engineering. I am doing a major happy dance right now.
