Met a new boot camp mom this weekend, we actually invited her to our last gathering but she could not attend as they had tickets for Sean Hannity's Freedom concert so we met for lunch yesterday - she said...I'll be the one in the McCain/Palin t-shirt! So if y'all see GoldenEmily stopping in...she and her hubby are good people!

Okay - it truly is a MESS in Atlanta, I have never seen so much rain here especially since we were under a drought for 4 or 5 years. They say we got 10" of rain yesterday alone and expect another 5" today. Thinking of naming our back yard...Lake Mary. Fortunately we live on a hill but the back yard has so much rain we are afraid that it may start getting in the house. They closed a number of the school districts, some of the freeways due to flood and in some areas = you have to boil your water. So at this point, we have power but heck anything can happy sooooo... if I go dark for a couple of days.....it's just the storm.

L, I saw that too. They are ALL important matters, I thought I remembered somewhere where (maybe it was axelrod, maybe it was Robert, IDK) they said, "He can handle more than one thing at a time." It would have been more astute to say it garnered attention and would be investigated, rather than belittle the topic by saying it was not important enough. Its encouraging to know he supports investigating Acorn, but the level of thoroughness and truthfulness in the end report is yet to be seen. I hope the conclusion is thorough house cleaning.

Yes, lets walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
On another subject, I saw a report on another web site the CIA put together stating we are much safer now because of all the interrogations that took place. OF course, its more detailed, but thats the crux of it. I hate to see us become so politically correct, so afraid to offend anyone, that we don't take care of the business at hand. Old crusty Navy guys on the Japanese forums think we're pansies these days... LOL! (not that a pansy flower is a BAD thing..)

Good morning ladies.
You have to wonder how serious Obama is about reaching out to all when he intentionally decided to speak on five stations and Univision but elects not to provide Fox with an interview. The message to me is...he really is NOT interested in the conversative population. To speak to the same left wing audience is not going to get the job done in a bipartisian manner.

I am happy to say that our governor has instructed all of the departments in GA to pull their contracts on Acorn :-) Enough waste, fraud and abuse of our tax dollars!

Good morning ladies!

Yes, quite interesting or shameful how MA is ready to rewrite their policies. Chris Wallace will be interviewing Acon Acorn tomorrow at 2 pm on Fox.

I get a lot of e-mail about those who support our military with the USO and wanted to acknowledge them, and make sure they are supported as well.
