Hi Julie... I have a son graduating 4/10/09 also, but he does not know as of yet what he will be doing. I did not think orders were given this early!! You might want to ask Navy Parent. I thought they were given a sheet as to what is open towards the end of A school and then with the help of the Commanding Officers they pick 2 or 3 things they would like to do. Then orders are given while they are doing labs and clinicals. Like I say I am still new to this, but as my son told me know one knows what and where they are going yet in his class. In my sons class of 60 about 20 Sailors would like to go FMTB. But I think it comes down to what the Navy needs and where they need these young men. Good luck to you and your Sailor, I hope he is doing well with his tests!!!

Julie... Maybe she does have orders already!! Jeremy is an EPO for his class, what class is your daughter in??? I think there are 2 classes that started on Jan 5th, is that the date she started??? Jeremy would love to go to C school if that is offered, from there he does not know what he would like to do. Oh, yes he is in Corpsman school and he loves it..

hi julie!
my fiance, billy, also graduates on that same day. From what i've heard, most get their orders after test 10. they fill out their dream sheet but its not guaranteed what they get; its based on what the navy needs. also the person with the highest gpa goes first when picking orders and so on. what class is your daughter in?? ohhhh and billy also told me that about 70% of the class ends up going to Lejeune for fmtb..

I'm curious. Did he request LeJeune out of A school? I heard most Corpsman (not girls) would go FMTB, but haven't heard how they decide between LeJeune and Pendleton. Has anyone else heard?
