Lareen, I'll keep Libby in my prayers. This separation stuff is difficult, and though they probably never get used to it (I don't) they can learn to accept it. I've been away from my home for 3 weeks now and I miss Mark terribly. I can imagine how hard it is for the sailors being away from theirs for months at a time! Wish my sailor was at Whitby! LOL I think I've said that b-4!

Hello everyone,
Its been a long time since I have been on. To make a very long story short. My Daughter Elizabet has finished A school. She got married in two weeks and now is C school at Whidbey Island, She is really sad and missing her hubby. I have told her that she has just gotten there and to give it a chance. Please keep her in your prayers. She has just called me so I will be back after we talk.
Thanks,
Lareen

Norma, me too and for all their families. I am so happy you got to spend time with Steven! I don't think it changes. Richard goes out for the 2nd time in Sept. and I'm already stressed over it. Like you, I just put him in God's hands and pray a lot. But I'm grateful to all the military for going to foreign shores to protect the homefront.

Carina is such a joy and a content little one too. Thank goodness! :-)

Good morning ladies. I have not been on for awhile as I Steven here over the 4th of July weekend plus a few days more. He was scheduled to deploy on the 16th, but now is not leaving until the 21st.... which is just around the corner. I began missing him as soon as he got on the plane to head back to California from TEXAS. As much as we are so proud of him, my heart still breaks for all our young men and women that are out there so we can be safe here. It is his first deployment so I am a nevous reck and maybe I'll get used to it and maybe I won't. I don't know. It was different when I was in the Army Reserve (many moons ago) because we were at time of peace. I know God is watch over all of them, but my heart still aches. On a more cheerful note, Charla, congrats on the new addtion to your family. I know Carina is a huge joy.
