I sure wish"C" school at Whidbey! I just live abt. 4 hours from there. I won't get to see him until at least Feb.

He won't get to meet his new niece until then either and that's if we can all arrange a way to be together. I'm so grateful for computers & cell phones. We are truly blessed to live in this day and age of modern technology.

My newest granddaughter will be here within the next few hours. :-)

My daughter is going to Whidbey Island too! She'll be going to C School there as well.

Thank you ladies, hopefully your sailors will all enjoy C school. They seem to get alot of respect there and are really focused on their specialty.

Cora - our sailor might be questioning Japan now but we lived there for five years and it is fabulous. I would recommend it to every sailor if they have the chance. There is so much to see and do there and the people are just wonderful. Our son was actually born there and really wanted orders to JN but due to the system he is training on - none of those ships are homeported in Japan at this time so he went with the next best thing...Hawaii. Yokosuka is one of the ports that his ship goes to - so he will still get to see his birth place :-)

I am glad to see so many joining our C School Group here!!! I ahve not been on in a while. been busy working in the Tomatoe Fields and Canning Salsa and Tomatoes, along with staying busy with my Scout group as den leader and course my two grandsons living with me keep me on my toes. My sailor she is going through mental stress right now and starts C School monday. She again has changed her focus and not looking forward to Japan. She will thank me one day that she did make the right decision. It will take time I know. God knows I am right. Us Moms have to be strong when our kids get rebellious and negative about things in life..We have to keep it positive . Good luck to all your Sailors and have a great summer.

Mary, that's wonderful that he will be graduating soon. Another door closes in the Navy and a new one will begin. Each step along the way brings us these feelings. We all share them. Enjoy your time with him when he comes home. Your son is graduating, and mine just arrived at C school yesterday!

Good morning C school moms.

We talked to our sailor last night...he's heading into the final stretch of C school and should be graduating July 31st. Although we will be happy to have him home on leave --- not sure I will be ready to say those goodbyes as he reports to his first ship. Strength and prayers will be needed!
