How's everybody doing out there? My son reported to his ship Dec. 4 but they don't leave port until sometime in January. He sent photos of his "quarters" and it's hard to believe they expect 4 guys to live in that small of a space for 3 years. The ship is huge but their room is tiny. I don't think I could breath.

Hopefully all your CS sailors aren't working TOO hard today! THANK them for us, wherever they are in the far reaches of the world, they are having an American Thanksgiving, thinking of us at home. They are cooking the meals that all the sailors will eat while thinking of Thanksgivings with family and friends. I am ever so grateful for them. As I am on here less and less while my son recovers from heart surgery, I still think of you wonderful moms and spouses, supporting their sailors and bonding together on here as a Navy family! My son has a job as a line cook at Red Robin now, is just on daily aspirin (doing well!), and is saving up to travel and find a culinary school to attend by next fall. I am truly grateful he is alive, for your support, and for your sailors. Today I will think of them and hope that they are all well and happy!

I just received this in my email. Please go to this site and pass this on. I posted this in a forum and sent to my groups and to all my N4M's please pass on to as many as you can.

XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING NICE!

If you go to this web site,www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the Armed Services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.

This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you's.

Thanks for taking to time to support our military!

My son will be leaving June of 2010. Going in as a CS. I have so many questions. Do they have many opportunities and how was the school for them. I already have a daughter that is in the navy. Has being in the Navy since 2005, right after high school. She loves it and is doing great, so proud of her along with all the other men and women that are serving our country
