Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hi all! I'm back now that grad is behind us.
I came on before the PIR 9-2, just to be prepared to spend a little time here while my sweet boy is in Monterey.
Hiya Boymom3 =) and Amirk'smom =) good to see both of you here as well!!
So far, son says Monterey is HEAVEN!! =) I cannot wait to take a trip out to see him!!

Hello everyone! My son just graduated 9/02 and is heading to Monteray tomorrow! I look forward to getting to know all of you! My 9/02 group was awesome and such a lifeline!!!

I can't wait to hug that boy!! He is my "baby" and I had a tough time letting him go--but I am sooo very proud of him for chosing such a nobel and honorable path!!

Welcome, Rami! I'm sure you've already heard it a thousand times, but you are going to LOVE PIR. Savor every moment of it.

I just got back from a visit to see my sailor in Monterey and it's a wonderful place to be stationed. My son has been there since January, 30th 2010 and he'll be there until July 2011 - if he graduates on time (fingers crossed and prayers sent daily).

I will be celebrating my son's PIR this Thursday 9/2 DIV 289...thought I better go ahead and jump on board here to get a feel for what his A school is gonna be like.
He leaves for Monterey two days after PIR.
I am so lookin forward to visiting him in that beautiful region of Cali =)

Hi CTI Moms!! I just back from a weekend visit to see Taylor in Monterey. It was awesome. Our sailors are very lucky to be stationed in such a cool place. We went to Big Sur, Carmel and did the 17 Mile Drive - and also visited the infamous Del Monte shopping center that gobbled up Taylor's first 2 paychecks when he first arrived there ;o).
