Hi everyone, haven't been on in a while. A-- theses ladies are all right they can be just about anywhere in the US. Most CT's are on land. Like Chris_Tonys mom my son is maybe going to go Iraq, but that is his choice. They don't have to go they choose to go over there from what my sailor says. My son is in stationed in Sugar Grove, West Virginia too. It is a really nice base. It is in the middle of the mountains but it is really nice. They views down there are beautiful. So yeah they could be anywhere. Good luck to your sailor in where ever he goes.

Where the CT's are sent depends on what kind of CT's they are. CTN's are not attached to Army Units and rarely leave the US. They need a lot of CTN's in Norfolk because it is the largest of the Navy bases.

A, My son is a CTN and he's stationed in Norfolk. I think they are stationed at just about any major Naval Base. Also, he has talked about some place in Maryland. Good luck.

Baniyan, The amount of time they spend on hold depends on; When they can get enough sailors for a class and if there are any clearence problems with other students. My son was on hold for about 6 weeks but his was a different class. Good Luck!

Hi Mom to 2 Sailors. I also have two sailors and one is a CTN and the other is a Nuke. It is indeed a strange world.

Hi all, hope everyone is having a great day. The weather is a least going to be beautiful for a couple of more days here in good ole PA. It is going to rain here in the next couple of days, yuck. Can't complain about the weather it was great here this weekend. Hope it is sunny where ever you are. Have a wonderful day.:)

Sue S. I know what you mean my second son wants to go into the Air Force next year when he graduates. I tried to talk him into the Navy along with his brother but he seems to think he would like the Air Force. I told him that is okay because I will be a very proud Air Force and Navy mom.
My sailor was home on the weekend and it was great to see him becaue I have not seen him since beginning of Feb. It was great to have him home. He told me that he will be an E4 in Sept. and a 3rd class petty officer. That is great for him too. I am so very proud of him. Well hope all is good with your sailors, ladies and take of your selves too.

SusanM, My son did the same thing to me. Just came home and said "I'm going to be a crytp... a CTN. I was also clueless and to a great extent I'm still clueless. They work with computers, their A school is incredibly hard and they never tell you anything about what they do. Welcome to the group.
