Lana: I hope you are okay my dear. What a long hard run this whole thing has been for you! You hold strong!! I'll be thinking of you and Devyn.
Devyn will come out of there having learned things he would have never learned otherwise. He will be able to take that knowledge and put it towards his next move in life. Sometimes it's hard for any of us to understand what the "plan" for our lives is...but I have always believed there is a plan for all of us. Devyn will find his "plan".

Some of our greatest American's (movie stars, writers, millionaire businessmen, inventors, artists, humanitarians etc etc...) have discovered they have ADHD. I've read a few books where many of them consider it a gift. You tell Devyn that we care about him...and his hugely! brave try for the Navy was just a learning experience that he will take with him to the next "gig"!!
He'll probably end up on Forbes richest 100 list someday or something and tell his Navy story. John McCain tells a story of how he almost got kicked out of the Navy for bad test scores and bad behavior...

It will all work out. Life has a way of doing that.

Hello all I just thought I would give an update on DEVYN, He just called and they are giving him a legal separation due to ADHD, He has had it since he was young but did not feel it would hurt him in the Navy, he said he should get to call everyday while on ship17. I want to thank you all for the support that you have given me through all of this. I am disappointed for Devyn but will be glad to get him home and onto a new game plan.

Hey Lana! It's all going to work out for Devyn. You just hang in there, momma! You are going to be writing and sending pictures to us all soon. You tell Devyn that all us mommas spend a greater portion of our days rooting for him and thinking about him!

I know you must be going thru a roller coaster of experiences,my dear. Know we all love and support you.

Devyn called his grandparents this morning and apparently his hip is still hurt they are going to take gamma e-rays? I don't exactly know what that means, so he has not got to start getting ready for his pfa's. I guess he is doing good. I miss him and it suxs!!!

Just wanted to give a little update on Devyn. He is doing great. He is finished with his physical therapy and gets to start running again tomorrow. He is hoping to be done by Christmas. Everyone keep him in your prayers. Thanks

Tallie...thank you, my dear. For setting up this site. For being so strong and giving us "newbees" so much good info about the whole scary boot camp process.

Jeff graduated Friday (Same Jeff as tallie's)... what a hectic but great weekend. It was so good to see Jeff, and he looks happy. We are all so proud!
