Dear Lord as we the mother's and father's of new and soon to be sailors gather here tonight bless us with your unconditional love and give us the strength required to get through the following days. Protect our son's, daughter's, husband's and brother's as they complete this, the first leg of their journey, in the service of our country.

Take our worries from us and help us and guide us as we unite here one family in heart and soul.

God keep our kids safe and level headed as they go into BS21 tonight. We know that they've been preparing for tonight all through bootcamp, but we ask that you just guide them tonight and that the division will be successful! Be with all in the division and with those in other divisions going through BS21 tonight as well. In Christ's Holy Name...Amen Nancy, Cindy, hope you get some rest also, it's going to be tough to sleep wondering how the boys are doing, I know I'll probably be tossing & turning. I was very happy to get the call from DJ Sat. night, I had not spoken to him since before I went on my trip at the end of August. I could almost hear his head exploding it was getting so large from their DIV winning Captains Cup, but that is something to be very proud of. We all need to pray today for our men and women going to BS tonight, but I know they will all do great but a prayer never hurts anyone. See you Thursday

Christian will stay in Great Lakes for A School, Operations Specialist. Way Kewl = totally cool, just a CA way to spell cool I think...Funny of how when I mention kids first names he goes "who"? then when he calls kids names by last name I go "who"? I'm just so excited I can't stand it. Recalling the call over and over, can tell the kids are really ready for grad. C U then

I just got off the phone with my daughter and she told me the same thing about Battlestation 21. I think our children know each other. Where is your son going to A-school? By he way what is WAY KEL?

BOO YAH!!!! Just got a phone call from Christian...Ship 06, Div 945 WON Captains Cup today 9/19/09!!!! So proud of those kids. Way to go 945!!! Christian also confirmed Battlestation21 date is Tues night 9/22, so we should be getting that official "I'm a sailor" call on Wed 9/23. See everyone at PIR 9/25, til then, keep our kids in prayer and God bless them and all Navy families.

I haven't heard a thing. We usually get a letter on Wednesday and did not this week. I will let you know as soon as I hear something. I can not believe we will be seeing them next week. Does any one know how much time we will be able to spend with our recruits?
