Christine~They have gotten some flags.. I am unsure of what one's though? They may even get their Division on the wall of fame or something.. my husband mentioned.. I forgot what they have to do for that though (Sry) Guess I'm not a whole lot of help :) But, BS tomorrow at 8pm!! Lets send up a lot of prayers.. as I am sure there are many of us that will be unable to sleep :)!! GO 038!!

Hello Karrie--my son Brian in in DIV 038 Ship 11--great to hear they all passed, and things are looking up for them for BS--We just have to say alot of prayers for them to keep up their courage, hope, strength and confidence. I wonder if they will be awarded any special divisional flags if they are doing so well.

My understanding was that they had to have their travel plans made by 12-8. Your son could have made arrangements through the Navy travel agency. My son booked himself a ticket with them after he told me to. Now he has two tickets. He wanted to make sure that he was coming home.

Well, when I spoke with Dave (before Thanksgiving) he told me he had to be ON BASE by 2100 on the 4th. I've read on other forums, that some of them are taking care of their own travel plans (thru a travel office).

Good evening to all--For those heading on to A school in San Antonio, when do they have to be there by? I thought Brian would get to come home, and leave on the 4th. Also heard something about having itineraries in by 12/08.......I still have not yet spoken to Brian, I do get a letter weekly though. I hear DIV 038 is doing really well, so well that during the confidence chamber they lit off 2 1/2 caps of gas instead of 1. I pray for my son and all our kids --they have been through hell-GOD Bless them !!

I just got a letter from Brian dated 12/7/08-last week was "Hell Week". I guess he got his first orders-on to
San Antonio 12/29/08 for A school- Master at Arms. I just cant wait to see him 12/24/08--we'll be in Great Lakes until the 28th.

Hi Christine, I stated in the previous post, my husband said that he thinks they are the 18th.. their calls home should be the 19th or 20th!! i don't think that they are really too worried about BS.. he didn't seem to concerned when I talked to him on the phone.. hmmm?
