Moms! I miss you! Right now I'm in Brandon's room waiting for him to wake up. Instead of me bothering him I'd decided to drop by..lol

Terry- so glad he's ok..your family is in my prayers!

Lelia, Brandon's still on active duty and has gained weight. I've even gained weight with him being home...lol I eat what he eats..

Sandy, hope you're doing well.The weather around here has been yucky, it storm one night of camping trip..I was scared! lol We're going to the Pit. Zoo Monday....Yay! Only 4 days left w\Brandon here.. ='( ugh!

Theresa- That's great you get to to Jen soon!

Brandon doesn't really want to do much. He likes to ley around and relax...sometimes it drives me crazy! Tonight we're going to a party at his friend's house and Sunday church w\my gram, the Monday the Zoo, Tuesday going around to our familes for him to say goodbye's,then he'll be off the the airport Wensday morning to leave. Anyone know how to turn back time? haha Well he so getting woken up NOW since I realised what little time is left....Have a good day!

Hey everyone - have been so busy since school got out trying to clean the house - yard - get the pool ready - back-breaking work!!!!!
So sorry to hear about your husband, Terry . He is one lucky man to be alive!!! I will pray for his quick recovery - I know that this is really upsetting Aaron and I know that you all are disappointed that you could not go to Charleston!!!
Theresa C - so glad that you are going to get to fly to see Jen soon - hope you have a great time!!!
Sandy - hope your procedure went well - we'll talk soon!!!!
Ben has settled back into "regular " life and started working this past week - he has gone for his reserve weekend today and it is quiet around here - I know that he is gaining back weight - lol - he was so thin when he came home, but since I 've been off of work I've been cooking good food!!!!! He is also working with some close friends of mine who own a food business, so he is around food all the time. I'm sure when he gets back from this first reserve weekend he will have a better picture of what will be coming up for him. Have a great weekend!!!!!

Theresa I haven't been on in awhile. I am sorry to hear about your husbands accident. I will be praying for a speedy recovery. Could Aaron get a leave to come home considering your husbands injuries?

Theresa - Leo (my hubby) has 3 fractured vertebra in his neck, 4 in his back. Thankfully, they all missed the spinal cord. The neck fractures damaged the artery on the left side, which was the main concern and reason he was life-flighted to the Kansas City hospital. He also has a fractured right wrist, broken left collar bone, cracked sternum and 2 cracked ribs. His left arm has sustained some nerve damage and he has no use of it at this time. In about a month, they will run another test on his left shoulder and chest area to try and determine if the nerve damage is permanent, or will get better. He had a large gash to his head that had staples, which have since been removed and various stitches to his face. The accident was 2 weeks ago tonight. All things considered, he is doing remarkable well. God has been so gracious to us.

Hi friends,
We are home from the hospital. My husband was released late Saturday night. Has been a long week for trying to establish a routine. He needs me to do most everything for him and that really frustrates him. I don't mind, but am very tired. I am feeling selfish and bummed out today - we are supposed to be on a flight to Charleston right now to see Aaron and we can't go. Still very thankful my husband is alive and should eventually have almost a complete recovery. God bless you all. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
