how many days did you all book? I dont know what to do, Sara said in one of her letters she was told she would have 3 hours before she had to leave, BUT I'm not sure how she would know that so soon. She has school in Texas. I guess I'll go through Saturday and if we need longer hope they can add another day.

Well if I travel alone I'd gladly share the cost if we land at the same time! I called a taxi and they said $171.00!!!

We're gonna rent an SUV too, you will fine in the snow with it, just need to take it slow

I just left chat, the women there say dont take a cab from airport, way expensive, they agree rental car is the way to go. Shuttle cant enter the base and its too dangerous to walk from Lodge on PIR date, road is too dangerous. Thats all I know right now :)

I am worried about the snow....hahahaaha..I called Enterprise at Midway Airport to get some prices and she said...the worst month for snow is February..
and the Lodge is about 30 miles away but plan on it taking about 1 1/2 hour to get there.....I'm booking a big suv 4x4...I've owned several of them but never drove them in snow and never had to use the 4x4...hahahahaahahahhaha

I'm not gonna kid....Snow is not fun to drive in, but if you don't do it here in the winter you'd spend a lot time in the house, and miss a lot of work!
