ke;jacmom, this is a good site for info on EOD training and there are many more on line..http://www.eod.navy.mil/....We wish the best for our EOD's and their families this Christmas holiday and are keeping everyone in our prayers...thanks for all you do! GO NAVY!

Merry Christmas to all the EOD moms! I'm on countdown to BC for my son, J. 18 days until he leaves for GL. I have heard from several people that there is a delay in GL for pre-dive to start! Seems like the Navy really is full, except for the Spec Ops rates. Where can I learn more about EOD training and what to expect for my son?

It was great to see my son and spend a week with him. It's awful hard to say that good bye and it sure doesn't get any easier. Got him to the airport and drove to my daughter's college and helped her load up to come home on the same day for xmas break. I was very happy that they had some one on one time together. God Bless all our troops and we love you all.

I am in Sicily with my EOD!! Will post a pic when I return...am having a hard time posting pics here.... This place is beautiful!! The Mediterrian Sea is so blue!! And, the food has been great...had horse meat ( like a steak ) and octopus yesterday!

Wishing everyone and their familes a very Happy Thanksgiving, also our EOD's that are not able to be with us for the holidays. Chase just went to training for three weeks and will not be able to come home,but we wish the best for everyone!

Can't wait to see my son at the beginning of December and then he's off to Spain for his EOD contract. I think we will have to do christmas next year or the following in spain.
