Good morning all:
I heard from Ashley this morning via e-mail. She says that they have lots of extra people on board and they are still waiting on an ok from their gov't to be able to go in and give aid. Sounded upbeat and ready to go.

I know the feeling. I did get an email the other day, Ezra said everything was fine and they were in the pacific. I emailed him back hoping they were doing ok with all the bad weather, but havent heard anything. If you go on the USS Harpers Ferry websight though you can usually get recent picture of the ship and where its been within the last day or 2

Not a word in over a month. I see the area on the news a lot with natural disasters though.

My USS HF sailor said they are heading to the Phillipines to lend humanitarian aid.

Hi BTM;
I spoke to Ashley last night. She says that they are anchored in the water just off the coast trying to decide where to go. They did have a scheduled fall tour but she says that has changed because of the many disasters that are in the region.

Hi Amy; I have spoken to my daughter Ashley and she said that they were still in port. They are not due to leave for another few weeks. Its very good to know all is fine on the Harpers Ferry!!

I guess it was very sudden. Not sure what is going on, but hope I hear something soon.
