Ignore the meme my friend shared lol. This is where you find Facebook Marketplace.

Facebook marketplace, also there are sales pages for Great Lakes…mostly spouses on it, but you never know. I can’t remember them off the top of my head, but a Facebook search should pull it up. YikYak is also a popular place for selling things…not really what it’s for, but that seems to be all it’s used for anymore since it’s not anonymous anymore

Most of the barracks have/had bulletin boards.  I don't know what type of social media is active there, facebook or craigslist?  Or r/Navy or r/newtothenavy on Reddit?  (Reddit can be a pit of despair, I do not recommend it for moms.)

My son is leaving next Friday and has a television he bought at the NEX last July. It’s perfect size for their rooms. If any sailor is interested in purchasing it what’s his best option to spread the word?

Barefootie, we are not sure. He is talking to his command and weigh all the options. Possible extending a year at least.

Proud wife will your sailor stay in after 6?

Its been a long time since I've been on. Husband is an FC, going on year 6. Time has sure flown by since I was on her asking a hundred questions. Hang in there you all

He will still report to his ship.  What they do with him can vary quite a lot.  Maybe other C schools, if the command has the budget for it.  He may go on temporary duty to another command, anything form another ship to one of the shore commands.  Base security is not an impossibility.  Or if the ship is still "working" he'll work on the ship.  Might be doing his job, might be cranking (helping in the kitchen or laundry).  Really difficult to say just what they'll do.  Be prepared for just about anything, especially if it is weird, annoying, or frustrating.

My son also-E.T communications. Went to C school @ San Diego, then will be to C school in Virginia...then? His ship is scheduled for dry-dock for repairs when he gets done w/ C school. What will they do with him?

Thanks Anti M, I know that they did talk to him about different things.  Just trying to keep it all straight.
