That is nice that they worked with you. I am online looking now and it looks like $160.00 roundtrip per person from the 2nd closest airport. But I am going to keep looking. Who did you get tickets from Delta directly or a site?

I understand K's Mom. I bought my tix right as soon as I knew what the PIR date is keeping my fingers crossed. But I got a ticket for 120 RT out of my home town in florida which is very very hard to get. Usually the tickets out of that airport run around 300 to 400. Infact that is what they are now. So I pray that everything goes according to plan. I spoke to Rusty on Saturday for the first time and he said so far so good. Next up to worry about will be battlestations which I am hoping means he passed PFA... Time will tell. If I have to change I can only hope that Delta will work with me. The girl said with him being Navy that they probably will but couldn't guarantee. I already changed it once and they did it with no problem. I decided after buying to change the days I wanted to leave and return and they did it without one bit of an arguement.

awwww that is so sweet Scott :) You must be very proud of Megan. How will this work with you guys tho? You will be stationed in entirely different areas or states being in 2 different branches right?

I have only made hotel reservations. I will look into plane & car rental later this week. I am just hoping she passes everything for graduation. I just hope she is doing ok.

I figure she will be seated with other sailors and I plan to wear my uniform to her graduation so she can find me faster. I am sure she will like having me in my uniform since it is way more uncomfortable than hers and since she has to wear hers all day I might as wear mine all day.

I believe it was out of Columbus OH. I might try to find one out of Charleston SC since my wife will have to fly there after GL to go to Nuke school. I figure I might just buy a ticket on whatever plane she is on and ride down with her. I am certain I can get someone to change seats with me.

I GOT A PHONE CALL THIS MORNING AT 8:30 AM!!!! YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Rusty sounded good but a bit overwhelmed! He got to call because his transcipts have not arrived and he needs them faxed to a certain number. Grad pack is in the mail to me!!!!!! He is sick :( but he can tough it out! HE IS GETTING MAIL NOW! Started on the 30th!! He was very excited about that!! He said the whole division seemed like they got mail this time! One car pass that is it!!! That was it 2:35 second phone call!! The BEST 2:35 seconds yahoooooooooooo... I can now have a nice weekend!
