When we talked to Jordan today he seemed to be a little better, but still bored. I wish they would start giving them somthing to do besides cleaning.

Joni, where do you get those? I know at some point someone posted an 800 number to call and you could order them to have sent to you. I can't find that post. What is the package called and where can you get them?

there are boxes available at the USPS not very big but great for care packages...I was told you can have the boxes delivered to your home....I just went and picked them up (told them Zach is in the NAVY)

I had a pretty big item to send. Does it have size requirements on the 13.95 flat rate?
Joni Comment by Joni on February 21, 2009 at 9:31am
Diane~At the USPS they have flat rate boxes....no matter the weight it is $13.95 to send. They reduce the price by $2 when (or if) our sailors go overseas=)

Driving it there. Plus the experience would be great, especially if you were not in a hurry. I wish I had more vacation time. I would volunteer to go when it got warmer. We could make fun stops along the way.

lol... I know what you mean. I have copied and deleted and repated several times! My fingers go so much faster than my brain sometimes.

Karen-- Hi there!! I am glad that you have good luck with your packages. I just sent one out yesterday to Rusty so not sure what will happen yet. I did send him a letter a couple of days ago and he hasn't received that yet but the weather is going to be a factor for them at least until Monday. I waited to see what was happening with everyone else. I am shocked at the cost to send packages though. I sent a 13 lb package and it was 25 dollars! Good grief. He has tons of stuff that he wants! I told him that we will have to weigh this out it might be cheaper to buy what he wants! Next he wants his truck.. hahahaha right! Not sure how to get a vehicle to them!
