I know. People always think you can get anywhere quick here, but the layout of this state is insane. It is 4-5 hours to Key West from here. I wish I lived where I could get places I like quicker. That's kinda what I was thinking plus I get to go and see her.

I have not received her Keilor DVD yet either. Wierd. I am going to have everyone over and have a dinner the following weekend I receive it. That way we can have a good family gathering.

I have not received the DVD or yearbook either. Bob is doing great. He called last night and seems to be flying through his modules there at Meridian. He really would like to get up to Groton as quickly as possible. There are a few from the group there but they seem to be a few days a part in there schooling. He has a Pizza and Cards night on Fridays and got my package yesterday just in time to "share" with the group. I have been using a local mailer. Mail Man Joeys. I think it is a chain. They give you several options when mailing packages and I have not had a problem yet. They have gotten there in good shape and on time. Almost afraid to use the post office! Good to hear that things are going well with our other sailors. Keep posting so I can keep informed and let Bob know!

Hi Joey, Hard to believe we live in FL and the drive is still 10 hours to get there isnt it?? You will be cheaper to drive her things to her than try to send them for sure. And the headache of dealing with the mail!

Hello Everyone, Just wanted to know if anyone has received their DVD from the graduation yet? We thought that we would get it on the next Wednesday. I has been many Next Wednesday's now.

Hey, everyone!! How are ya'll? We are good. Katie is in Pensacola waiting for school to start. She ordered a new phone so I did not have to worry about shipping it. I am probably going to make a road trip next month to see her when she can have her civie clothing. It's a 10 hour drive from here, but that is not too bad.

I sent Adam his cell phone and mp3 last Thursday and it arrived on Saturday the 14th (goose creek, sc) and he still hasn't gotten a mail slip to go pick it up and apparently he has to have a mail slip for it....sigh....

Sent 3 packages today. They should get to Sab Diego by Wed. He likes it there and is working on his security clearance. He sounds good so far.

Sent a package to Rusty. Sent it regular parcel post. With the big storms figured it wont get there any earlier than a week anyway. Wish my package luck! lol
