one of my friends said the same thing! she was like he'll either find a girl thats in the navy with him, or find a girl that lives around his a school. I was like are you even kidding me, needless to say we are no longer speaking.

i love this site so much, everyone cares about everyone else. it's like a big family :)

My own mom told me to prepare myself; that Max would find someone else in the navy! She told me this the week after he left for BC, when i was so sad and depressed...what a thing to say! I can't believe the things ppl will say...they can't even begin to understand how tough it is for us wives/fiances/gfs! That's why I love this site :) :)

Victoria- ya.. it's exactly like you said.... but anyways..enough about those ignorant people..lol i'm so glad you got a phone call.... :) I always love phone calls even the least expected ones..lol.. that has happened like twice to me.. I'll just go to check my phone and I'll either receive a text from him or he will call the house phone..lol
I'm glad you are doing ok..as for me i'm doing as well as can be expected :) Just making it one day at a time, and I'm glad that I'm with the man I'm with b/c he is the man of my dreams :) I just never really thought I'd be in love with my best friend, and a military man..lol

haha that's awesome! I had my gramms brothers in the army and my pap in the navy in ww2, my uncle in the navy, deneb in the navy now, his dad a marine, their whole fam in the navy, and now deneb's brother starts army basic the week of deneb's pir. i think i'm starting to get in on this battle too now! Lol

Charlene--My dad served 22 years in the Marines, so I've got a lot of oorah pride! Aha, I've had to make room for the Navy, but I've accepted it graciously into my life :P It's a little on going, healthy, fun battle between us. Plus, Gage's dad is retired Navy, and HIS dad was in the Marines! So it's a whole family feud. =] I wouldnt trade these crazy people for aaanything.

hahaha that's awesome about the call! ^_^ I hear Deneb's RDCs are awesome (except one) but realllllyyyyyyy tough, so I doubt they'd do that for him :(
oh well, I can wait. You always wanted to marry military? You are the first person I've met to say that! lol Then, this is perfect! :) I never wanted to really get married, I have always wanted to be an RnB/Jazz singer and dancer on the side. Now, I'm with a military guy, becoming a personal trainer/master trainer in time, and hope to do music and dance on the side. How things change lol
Danielle, that really is all you need to say. It's somehow become socially acceptable to be so selfish that love is put on such a backburner anymore. I guess they've never heard of sacrifice and committment. Looks like they're in for a surprise down the road!

Allyson, Deneb has been in boot camp since 8/31 and this has most certainly weakened and strenghtened relationships with my friends and family members. Quit being a baby? I love the irony to this childish statement!
You know what I say? I say, less people to worry about making plans with! :)
