Daughter finished OS A school today. Cleaning day tomorrow and grad on Thursday morning...Yea :)!!! Still no orders. Someone lost the whole class but has now been found so hoping orders will come before she leaves on Friday. So very excited about her coming home!!! I am thankful. I am lucky. To those of you who don't get to see your sailors for Christmas my prayers and thoughts are with you, your sailors and your families!!!! Carry them in your heart!! We are blessed by all who serve our country....THANKS!!!!!

Kari thanks for the information. JD has been texting me and calling alot so I guess that is a good thing. He told me that as of right now he is on hold until the 7th of this month. He is flying home for Christmas which I am happy about. He has told me that he has been doing watch but nothing about cleaning. I know that he is bored right now. Any other information that you can share would be wonderful.

JDs mom: my son PIR 10/16 and is waiting to start GM school, I dont know alot, but Ill tell you our experience........ :) he will most likely be "on hold" until he "classes up" (that mostly means til the class is full and ready to start) until then he will be cleaning and doing working parties, but mostly have lots of time off! :) when he "phases up" he will be allowed to wear civvies and stay out all night, etc.... its all a waiting game though ;-)

My sons PIR was 10/2 he just started ATT last week. His ship is the New Jeresy. Can;t wait until the 18th. So glad I found this group. Hope you son't mind if I join in.
