We finally got orders, the week before he graduates A School! We're staying in San Diego!!! Now if we could just get our guy back home...the boys are really missing their Daddy. :)

Christopher called me today to tell me that he has already classed up to ATT. Starting his first class today. They are now offering ATT in a night class, running from 4pm to 12AM. Not sure of the logic of that. He only completed SCC last Wednesday so we were pleasantly surprised that ATT School would start so quickly after. He also said that GM school has been shortened as well. Sounds like they have smoothed out the bottle neck that was occurring during schools.

Tyler is just about to phase up to wearing civilian clothes. He called home last night with an order to be shipped. Will finish SCC on Tuesday. Then I'm sure he'll be on hold waiting for ATT to class up. He's doing great and adjusting to life in GL really well.

HI all. Good news, my son is coming home on leave today. I am so thrilled.He will only be home for 15 days but I am thankful for any time i get with him. His plane reservation made on base for him was so totally messed up tho.Almost wasn't going to make it home. took me 2 hours of phone time between the people on base who set up the reservation and the airport to get it straightened out and get him a true reservation. But after 9 months of not seeing him i was not about to give up my fight.lol.

Congratulations to your daughter Susan H!! Where will she be stationed? how long did it take her to get through A school? my son has been in since December..hopefully he will be finished soon..Susan G.

Any GM mom's from Kansas? I am from NE Kansas. October 3rd my hometown is having their fall festival and I hope to have a tribute to military personnel during our parade. Place Burlingame, KS 6pm is the time the parade starts. Let me know.

hi everyoone my son graduated bc aug 21st and is going to a school in gl anyone else who has a sailor there for gunnersmate?
