THANK YOU AMY, the BEST NAVY MOM EVER, for the wonderful party on Thursday to celebrate all of our A School graduates. Boy, you Marylanders really know how to throw a party! You and your family are wonderful and it was great to meet everybody.

And CONGRATULATIONS to all the young men and their families for the momentous feat of making it all the way through Submarine School. Way to go!

Hi Gloria P Just wanted to drop you a note to say how nice it is to read all the info you put on line for others. Also that you son in Hawaii is enjoy that area. I hope you can get to go there and visit with him it's wonderful there. If you have been there just going back to see your loved one serve his country the way they do is a great experience. I hope the you fall season has been a good one so far. May you get some fine weather to enjoy. Been cold and yuk

Hello Ladies! I hope you all had a great day! I spent the day shopping with me 2 daughters (JCPenney's had a huge sale). Now I'm enjoying a cup of tea and catching up on all the posts at N4M.

This may be a silly question, but what does BESS stand for?

Hi I'd like to join this group. My son will be leaving for BC in January, and then move on to Groton CT after PIR. I'm new to this..... just learning, so I figured this would be a good starting point for me.

Ous son has been in Groton since June. He is currently 'oh hold" to class up for A school. Enjoying his time in Groton. Once they get to the point where they can leave the base--they can take the train from New London to Boston, NYC etc. He is trying to get out and see the area as much as possible before the weather turns too cold. Your son should enjoy his time there. Much more relaxed from BC.
