All I know is that he said he was a Nuclear Machinist Mate and he is in Groton.  See what I mean by not very informative lol

Hi ladies...I am new to this whole experience so I would appreciate any and all information you can give me.  I was in denial when my son enlisted and was not very supportive. I wouldn't research any information at all. I have come a long way since that time and I am so very proud of him for his decision. I am trying to get as much information as possible. I will have to say...Navy for Moms is awesome!!

My son graduated BC 4/29 and arrived in Groton yesterday.  He is going to school for Nuclear Machinist Mate. He is not the most informative person so trying to get information from him is like pulling teeth. lol   Although that is what I deserve for trying to persuade him not to enlist.

What I have read from the previous discussions, there is a BESS graduation. He tells me that they have no graduation until after some other type of school. (He does this school first and then on to his A school where there is a graduation).  Do any of you know?

Thank you all and God bless!!

charlene...her original plan was to transfer classes to a school near the base, but now that they are engaged and apartment hunting...she is thinking about putting school on hold (i know...lol) for a while and look for immediate work.
