No, I have the tie around the middle and a D-ring on the neck strap. I had to buy a pattern, I can't create on my own but I can copy just about anything!!

Sue, my nephew wore an apron last year when we made gingerbread houses and he decided they should be normal everyday attire. I'm making him one for Christmas this year!! I can just see all 6'3" of him walking around the streets of NY wearing an apron!

I make aprons, microwave potholders and microwave baking bags. Plus this year, I have some things that were donated by Joann's for sale. AND I am going to do the Ally idea with adopting a pillowcase as a fundraiser for HAE.
Here's a picture of me in one of my aprons at a birthday party at my church. 12 ladies decorated a table for their birth month. Can you guess mine?

Truthfully, it's been like pulling teeth. i'd rather work on pillowcases and I am itching to mail some. MIght do a small group on thursday.

I wear aprons all the time, as I am messy. haha. I am wearing a Christmas one right now. I wear them to school for my job also. The kids love them and always wonder why I wear them. I tell them for the pockets.

We've been making veterans cards for the last 2 weeks. I bring in my scraps of fabric and love all of that. One co-worker asked me where I got all the fabric and I said "do you realize that I make my aprons?" She said no. I said "from my craft business and the HAE pillowcase project." hey, some of those pieces are just too small for me to use.

Last night I went to a Pampered Chef bingo night. A friend of mine was there and sh brought me 8 pillocases. 6 were made by a 9 year old girl! And 2 are actually quilted! I'll post pictures tomorrow.

You got it , I'm will work on the Thank You Print. What are you making for the Fair?
Sue-Pillowcase lady Comment by Sue-Pillowcase lady on November 10, 2009 at 10:33am
Maryellen, you make the Thank you prints then. I was going to, but am busy sewing for my craft fair Saturday.
I only want 2 of each kind sent for the NY. We are going to adopt some of those other groups from Molly's website this month and December, so we can spread them around.
