Well my friends from work or coming thru, my one friend her husband works at Jays potato chips hope they like chips. LOL One of my friend had a great idea she said what about adding items for New Years, I thought that was great so some of my friends are giving me things for the goody bags. Also my Bunco group is helping out, all you had to do is ask and you will receive. The kids are starting on the cards next week in art, the art teacher bought special paper for their projects, I just know the IT group is going to love everything they get, I am so happy to be part of this, thanks for letting me help out. I told my son what I was giving in the bags he just laughed and told me they were going to love it.

Dianne, wow that is really cool, I have learned something about the Nimitz. Thanks for the information, those ships just amaze me how big they are, you did a good job.

Serena that is a true blessing. Yes people do love our sailors it is amazing
that in this huge crazy world we live in wonderful people like her are still
out there. I have found the same here at home. I hope everyone reads this
and feels the joy in the blessing. And if they have not been able to do anything
for the project they will find someway to help make the true meaning of
Christmas for giving and help us make our goal. I myself have found so much
joy within myself doing this project. This is my Christmas celebrating the
birth of baby Jesus and giving to others.

Serena is that not great. I talked with some of the teachers today and they want the kids to write letters so I will include them with the cards, this is working out really well.

I was in Walmart today buying several bags of candy for our project, and the lady behind me in line started asking what it was for. When she heard what we are doing, she pulled out a donation and handed it to me and asked me to buy something from her for in the bags. Total strangers love our sailors too!!!

Pat I am planning to send quite a few more over the 25 I committed to. I'm hoping to hear something on donations this week. Just can't commit to a number yet till I see what comes in.
