There is a bigger box but it is not flat rate.

I always use the 12 x 12 x 5 1/2 size priority flat rates boxes. Is there a bigger size that that? It seems like I am only going to be getting between 10-12 baggies per box. I used the lunch paper bags and they are big and I cant really squeeze them or the decorations will be ruined. Its going to take me about 10 boxes for the goody bags and another box or two for the cards. A bigger box would be better for me.

Laura, I only posted the pic as an fyi. Al 3 flat rates look the same just in 3 different sizes

They also have smaller ones and ones shaped differently too, if you have less to send that could fit in a smaller box. The postage rate is less for the smaller boxes as well. fyi note.

This is the APO/FPO priority mail flat rate box.
Pat Comment by Pat on October 31, 2009 at 9:50pm
Gwen you can use the APO/FPO flat rates. I just put that out there in case others planned to ship using the parcel post rate.
Pat Comment by Pat on October 31, 2009 at 9:49pm
I use the flat rates too but a few people told me it was to expensive so they are using parcel post. Parcel post can take up to 6 weeks to reach it's destination. It really depends on what you are sending and the weight of the package. If you are sending 5 or 10 goody bags it may be cheaper but not if you are sending 100. It doesn't matter how they are shipped just that they get there before Christmas.

I thought we were supposed to used those as preferred by military. That's all I use to mail stuff to son and family in military. Just going by what son had told me a year or so back when they had all the problems with holiday mail and it had to be scanned first at one central place. It's just been easier for me. Perhaps it doesn't matter, but time to get where it's going might be a little different. Might want to check though to be sure. :)

I am using the APO/FPO boxes should I use a different box?
