Its July 2, San Diego, C school. When I told him I was coming and he still was graduating 7-2-09, he said, well, yeah, its supposed to, but things come up. Meaning paperwork. In the ET/FC group, many of the sailors don't have copies in their files of their INDOC PO graduation, so they have to take it over.

CCR let me know how the graduation is. I plan on going to Kyle's too. His is the day after Thanksgiving! It's always good to have the inside track when attending these events. It's funny that I have not found any information regarding these graduations? I'll be sure to post any information I find out so that others can benefit from my expierence.

Yes, thanks Beth. I am not too proud to ask everywhere I think I can find someone who might know someone. LOL! I'm sure its booked because of the July 4th parades, wouldn't you think? Or maybe sailor families in town for the holiday, so.... But I can't NOT go. He said he's had above 95 during his C school, so he's pretty sure he'll be an honor graduate.

Maybe someone will cancel at the Lodge and you can stay on? The only N4M that I know is quite a drive from the city - like an hour and a half if not more. Have you tried hooking up with the So. Cali. moms?

I havn't booked yet, but does anyone know someone in SD I could stay on their couch July 3 4 and 5? I can only get Navy Lodge for June 30 and Julye 1 and 2, then they are booked up.

I have not been on here for a few weeks...So much has happened. Drew left us for BC on Wednesday the 20th. He actually left on the 19th and stayed at a hotel overnight. We met up with him bright and early on Wednesday morning at MEPS. He was playing chess in the game room when we arrived. He was leaving for the airport around 12noon. During dinner that evening we got a phone call that he had arrived in Chicago. I"ve been writing letters. Waiting now for the infamous "Box". On Friday one of our horses left to go to camp for the summer, and now I have 2 new boarders at the barn. Tex and Moose...Lauren also had her senior prom Friday night. Drew wasn't around to see his sister for that but we'll send pics. What a week!!!Looking forward to PIR.

Hey Karen, You must be counting the days! Did you get that call yet?
It's been raining here too. Today we had alot. I've been doing some inside projects to brighten the rainy blues. Obadiah is a musician, plays guitar and sings - he sang at different venues, so I gathered the different venue papers advertising that he was playing there, and I'm going to make a collage of them and frame them to hang on his wall for when he comes home. He called last night, and said that they had a talent contest and he played guitar and sang. They loved it, and he won the contest. I was so happy for him. I told him that when he comes home, I can't wait for him to sing for me again.

Hi Valorie I know what you mean Billy said he wants to sleep,sleep and eat and sleep on a regular bed..lol...can not wait just to look at him and hug him..he also wants to wear boxer undies..lol His brother and Billy gf are going up for PIR..so I get two of my boys in one spot..gotta love it..missing my horse babies it has done nothing but rain here...hope the weekend is better..
