I hope everyone is ready for all the snow and ice that they are predicting I know that I'm NOT heck I dont even have any wraping paper (my kids say they dont need the games wrapped!! ) Any way hope evey one has a GREAT Holiday!!! even if we are snowed in !!

Hey Ladies,
Haven't been on for awhile, been VERY busy with holiday stuff and most importantly getting Kyle's box shipped. Unfortunately I have my doubts it will get there by xmas but I did my best. I was trying to finish a scrapbook of his 21st birthday when he was home on leave to include in his gift box. I hope he enjoys it. As soon as I get my photo program fixed I will download the photos from his album. I think all his friends in Sasebo will enjoy seeing how he celebrated his 21st birthday at home. Hope everyone has a great xmas. I have to work xmas eve but am off for 3 days after so I have a long weekend. I wish Kyle could be home for xmas but am actually keeping my fingers crossed that he will be able to make it home for his sister's wedding next September!!! Happy Holidays to all!!!

Thanks! They are planning on a long engagement, 3 years so she can finish college. With that in mind, I'm okay with it! Glad they are being sensible :-) Justin isn't on a ship or sub, just guard duty and patrols on base, as far as I know.

Guam! Wow! I know another sailor that's stationed there. His dad lives in Geneseo. I think he's on a sub, but I'll check. Engaged? eek. Are you ready for that? I hope they take their time. So many sailors want the connection at home, but it doesn't work. I wish them well and congratulations!

Justin will be spending Christmas in Guam, enjoying the beach! But at least he managed to make it home for Thanksgiving, and even got engaged. Merry Christmas to you and Andy too!! :-)

I'm home for two weeks after a month's adventure! I took my sailor's dog, Tex, and drove to the Houston area in November. He flew from chicago to meet a young woman he'd been talking and writing to--I got to meet her, too. Nice person, but no chemistry for them. He and I visited my brother in Houston, then drove to Tucson for Thanksgiving. My husband flew; his family is all there now. Had a wonderful time! Son and Tex flew back on Dec. 1; we drove to our winter home in the Rio Grande Valley near McAllen. Got things unpacked, missed the blizzard here! Flew home on Sunday. We'll be here till New Years Eve when we go back to Texas. Spending time with the granddaughters and hoping our sailor will get home for Christmas. Merry Christmas to all!

Well it seems like I have had one of my kids home at least once a week since sept and now that all 3 of them are in school at the same time Mother Nature sends in snow so I get them home again...and hubby to and Dereck informs me 8 more days of school and he is done.. when do i get the house to myself.? And by the way my Malamute LOVES it
