Nothing has been posted/updated yet on the USO NAS JAX website but because of the holiday weekend they probably will get it out in the next few days.

I might have been wrong - today I read that the parade starts at 10 a.m. (although with parking the way it is you may want to come early anyway). As soon as I know the right time I'll let you know.

I always sit out at the bayfront, if anyone plans on coming down let me know and we can at least introduce ourselves! I'll be with friends from out-of-town otherwise I'd be organizing another meet-n-greet.

Sorry I missed lunch last weekend - I have been so busy getting ready for my son to come home for Christmas, and school, I got my weekends mixed up. I didn't realize that I missed it until Monday when my daughter asked if she could do something this weekend and I had to look at the calendar.

Dusty, the list is out at the Mayport USO. Also, just an FYI for all...the lighthouse in St. Augustine is ALWAYS free to military & their dependents. :)

Pal Day is AWESOME! There is also a free lunch provided by the Elks Lodge! (Tickets need to be picked up at the USO) We go every year! :)

I'm not sure what it stands for but some of the attractions open their "doors" for free for us. The list of which ones isnt out yet but as soon as it is I'll pass it on.

Hey Dusty, what is PAL? That is also the date of the Christmas parade, so it would be a great time to come and spend the day. It kicks off at 9 a.m. Lots and lots of fun, I'll be there with a couple of girlfriends and *maybe* the husbands (if we let them tag along LOL).
