 rrmrm LOL! you know when I went thru this with my son I never knew anything about all of this, I just waited patiently, I have karned so much being on this site. I guess I'm old school but I never knew anything about the paperwork my son took care of everything and didnt talk to me about anything. the only thing he told me was that I was his benificuary (go Figure) I was so blindsided, oh and what it was he was going to be. other than that I knew nothing, now that I know there is more to it, I feel so Dumb. But he has done good by taking care of everything I havent come acroos any problems but I am ready for him when he comes visits to get my POA'S done.

for those that are going in, they were expected to train prior to leaving for BC that is there Recruiter had them to. we are seeing quite a few that are unable to pass the run, and or swim test. they will work with them to help them to pass. so for those that have not or are not scheduled to come for a few days or weeks it is crucial that the sites below be read by the Mothers and by the recruit signing in so they can get a head start on training themselves to be able to accomplish these requirements beforehand.

I am sure that there are many recruits going to basic not being able to do the required number of push ups and sit ups. That's why they train and do pt, right? To get them in shape and where they need to be.

Also it has been mentioned by Anti M to practice the prone float so start swimming also. There are many not passing, and it can be a Heartbreak to those enlisted and to families themselves. so If they havent left yet and are going to be shortly have them look at those sites.
