Hey Dennis No problem ... it would be fun to go camping together wish Marilyn was coming on Saturday ... And your welcome MD mom I can only imagine I remember how excited I was and we drove ..blahhh so I had 15-16 hours to really get excited hehehehe Its the most amazing experience ever I still get shivers thinking of it !!!! you girls just wait !!!!

Sally- Thanks for sharing the info on resturaunts, I will be ther in 2 weeks!!!!! I am so over the top excited to see my son!

Hi Sally this is Dennis, Marilyn's hubby. We thank you for for the restaurant info and your help on getting us back on line. This site has helped both of us get over the jitters knowing that others are in the same boat. I hope we can get together and go camping somewhere together. We're only about 8 miles from you.

Hey Marilyn I just left you info on your site but maybe I should leave here too for others moms going up for the Nov.6 PIR - Two really great places to eat while at Great Lakes are in Gurnee which is about 12 miles away near the huge Mall - One is called - The Backyard Steak Pit at 1818 N. Grandwood Drive in Gurnee , the other is called - Salutos Pizza at 7680 Grand Avenue, Gurnee .... and trust me if its still as great as it was when we were there you will never have better pizza or food Amazing !!!!! Making my mouth water and wishing I was going with you all ..... awesome places.... Also Navy pier downtown Chicago is rather fun you can take the train that is across from the base and then a bus to Navy Pier ...very fun ....
