Michigan is the best!! I have been to many places and it is always good to be home. My son, Michael, likes to ask us "How are things back in the hand?" :) I am in Cedar Springs, Kent County. 15 miles north of Grand Rapids.

Kathy, My daughter and her family live in Olivet. If you are involved in the high school at all you have heard of Maple Valley. I live in the Vermontville half of the school district. My son Tim is an Ensign thanks to OSC. He is due home from San Diego on Sat. Then he will leave for Pearl Harbor the following week end. I just found this part of the Michigan site and was excited to find another mom close by!! Let me know what is going on in your sailor's life!

I'm in Macomb county, right at Lake St. Clair! It's beautiful over here. I love autumn! :) The leaves, the apple cider, the doughnuts...of course, the smell of wet leaves! I'll take four seasons over everyday sunny anyday! :)
