Happy New Year to all of you and all your loved ones, wherever they may be. We are enjoying one last day with our loved ones in San Antonio. Tomorrow is the long trip back. Hope the weather warms up. Ha Ha. It sure is different not wearing heavy parkas outside here. May your day be restful and a great start to 2009. Maybe in this new year we can plan a get together.

Welcome Pat and Holly. I'm from Coon Rapids. My son didn't get to come home this Christmas. I know how important it is to share the time together when you get it. 2 of my 4 children are also living away from home. One made it home tonight and we will go to visit the other one next week. Thank your children for their service to our great country. Have a very Merry, joyful Christmas.

MB, you'll have to let us know where in MN. My son is in Pensacola for the holidays. How good for him weatherwise. We've had an all day snow fall here in the cities. Now the cold is settling in. Have a great weekend.

I'm also unable to go on the 20th. Actually, any weekend in December is already full with Christmas activities. My husband and I were thinking of going to the parade once, and can't come up with a date. It was a very good idea, Elizabeth. Don't stop with the ideas.

Thanks, Linda, for looking into it. Yeah for you Helen. Right now it doesn't look as if Craig will make it home for Christmas. He's in FL for now. Gwen, my husband got to go to the game last Sunday, also. It was great. Have a great Sunday tomorrow. good night all.

Welcome, Gwen. Glad you could join us. Do you also live in MN? My daughter is living in TX now and said they had some frost on their car this morning. It might only get up to the 60s today. I just laugh at her. Linda, did you find out anything about the Holidazzle floats? Yeah for Jim, Wendy. Also, I just saw a trailor on a new movie coming out in January with Rene Zellweger that is set in New Ulm, MN. Looks to be funny. Have a good day, all. Stay warm.

Happy Birthday to Brian! I know about the birthdays away from home. Craig's is tomorrow - he'll be 20. It will be harder on me I suppose. I'm sorry that I didn't meet you Julie, Craig PIRed on 11/21 also. Everytime we ate out, I said, "Remember this on your birthday." They do survive and grow from it. My three older ones have helped me learn that.
