For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

La carta formulario recibirá en su correo regular alrededor de nueve a catorce días laborables después de que el recluta se posa en el RTC porque no es enviado hasta el día después de que el recluta pasa la primera PFA, que se encuentra en alrededor del quinto día laborable tras la llegada (más tarde si la división que el recluta tentativamente se había colocado en a su llegada no llenar hasta una fecha posterior).

Comment by Proudmom94 on July 24, 2018 at 11:29pm: Hola Edith, bienvenida a la gran familia del Navy. Mi hijo se graduo el dia 13, dia en el q tu muchacho entro, el estuvo en la Div 936. Yo recibi la caja con sus cosas personales y adentro no habia ninguna notica. Despues a las 3 semanas hable con el por tel codigo 847 y enseguida me llego una carta con la information del dia de la graduacion y la forma q hay q reenviar con los nombres, no demores nada en enviarlo pq demora el proceso y ahi te dice el ship y el numero de la division y ya entonces le puedes escribir y enviar fotos a esa direccion. Es una etapa muy intranquila para nosotras las madres, pero ellos estan bien. Que Dios siempre los proteja a todos.!!!

Comment by Edith on July 23, 2018 at 10:29pm: hola mi nombre es edith y soy nueva en esta historia de nuestros hijos en navy, quisiera ver si hay alguien q me pueda informar q sigue despues q llegan la tan esperada caja de ellos y cuando no viene informacion de ellos, acerca de en q division estan, el se fue a great lake en julio 13 hace unos dias recibi su ropa pero ninguna informacion de su division y hasta el momento no me a llegado ninguna carta, cuantos dias tengo q esperar por esa carta? si alguien me puede ayudar se los agradecere, bendiciones para todos

Ya nosotras tenemos a nuestros pequeňos graduados del BC pero las q estan por ir a Great Lakes fuera bueno leyeran el escrito en Discussion Forum bajo Julio 13 / Div 936, las pudieran ayudar en su viaje a Chicago. Nosotras ya somos luchadoras aunque estemos en la retaguardia. !!!!!!

Ahora pueden comunicarse mas ya que tienen su telefono pero tambien van estar ocupados estudiando para examenes en A school. Les deseo todo lo mejor en esta nueva etapa con la Navy! Comment by Proudmom94 on July 16, 2018 at 10:50pm: Hola, gracias x sus comentarios.Les cuento que por fin el viernes fue la graduation de mi hijo y es una experiencia inolvidable, pero uno se pasa dias pensando en cuando llegue el dia, preparando el viaje y al fin cuando llega el dia este no coopera con nosotras y se va muy rapido, quedandonos muy orgullosas y admiradas por los logros de nuestros pequeňos gigantes ,pero tambien tristes con la nueva separacion. Que Dios los bendiga a todos y los mantenga siempre fuertes, saludables y a salvo.
