For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hi Navy moms, just found this site. My daughter joined the Navy 5 years ago when she was accepted at USUHS. She graduated last June, and this is her intern year in emergency medicine. We couldn't be prouder of her and all she's worked so hard for. She loves the Navy. In fact, when she was young one of her favorite VHS sets to watch was Tigers of the Sea. We thought it was as exciting as paint drying, but she was glued to it, and watched it over and over.
We would appreciate your good thoughts and prayers as we head out west for my husband's 4th brain surgery in Irvine. We will need to find inexpensive housing for the 3 weeks after the surgery, until the neurosurgeon okays him for travel. On the bright side, we'll get to see our daughter, who is stationed a few hours away. Her CO gave her time off to come stay with me.

nice to meet cha. My daughter has been in 10 years this Aug. she is in active right now and just had a baby. She loves the Navy also and has been to more Countries then I can count. Her Husband, Joe is also in the Navy. Another thing we have in common is a very close friend (also Navy) has a brain tumor, last year she went under her 1st surgery but they couldn't take all of it. And has had another surgery since and lots of medicines.....so I understand a little. She lost hearing in one ear and her eye sight has gotten worse and blurs....
I will keep you all in my Prayers. I am Glad your daughter's CO is allowing her leave time. Keep us posted. Hugs

Thank you. yes we arrived on the day she was born. We have a grand son, Connor James, back home who will be 6 in Sept. Tahlia Rose was born April 7th. we are here for 2 weeks, well actually only a few more precious days.

You have my thoughts and prayers for your family and your hubby. Check out Ronald McDonald House, as they may be able to assist with lodging--my niece stays they for several days at a time while her son undergoes chemo.
My daughter also graduated in June of last year (DIV 203). We are family.

Thanks so much for your prayers. My daughter wants us to stay in SD, so we are hoping the Navy Lodge has an opening, but we won't find out until 3 days beforehand. Congrats to your daughter!

I know you are proud of your girl. I also have an officer daughter, just made LT last year. She's a Naval Flight Officer out of Oklahoma. I will certainly keep your family in my prayers for a successful surgery. I'm glad your daughter will be able to be there with you. Keep us posted.
