Joanne,
I'm glad Kasey is feeling better. It's a shame tho' that you had to cancel the party!! Maybe you can still do a little get together with friends and family for her, or does she leave soon??

Wade,
How exciting to enjoy the birthday party of a little 3 year old - - and NOT be the child's parent!!! he he Can you tell us what FMTB is and why does your son go to a Marine base?

Pat,
How is everything going with you these days? I will be thinking of you when I take Jenn to the beach this week!!! She wanted to go to FL and I told her I knew someone there!!! But I'm afraid you are just a little too far away to do a one day beach getaway!!!

Today was a little chilly and on and off rainy!! When the sun comes out it felt real nice but then the clouds cover it up and you can just feel the temp drop!!!
I wish everyone a peaceful, joyful week. Hope everyone gets to have some conversation with or from their sailor!! God Bless our Sailors!!!

Jennifer is here!!! She made it with no problems but realized she does not like long distance driving. She had fog, rain, lightning, everything except snow or ice!!! But she is here and it's partly sunny, temps in the upper 60's. She's happy!!

Wade,
What a wonderful picture!! Congrats to your son!! Where is he off to next?

BB,
Sorry your daughter is having some struggles. I'm glad dmarie could help you out with the info. That's what I love so much about the wonderful ladies on this group!!!

DC,
Glad your back is doing better. I like the idea of the photography class. Might have to look into it but I told hubby the other day that I'm going to agree to learn how to dance (although I HATE dancing) so we can go dancing together. I don't know what's wrong with me - chalk it up to old age I guess!!!!

Hope everyone else is having a great weekend!! Will try to catch up more later - off to a mall with Jenn!!!!

Pat, my back is much better, thank goodness. Now I just have a little morning stiffness but nothing bad. I am so much a happier camper.

Blondie, broccoli/cheeze soup sounds yummy! Hopefully the weekend off and comfort food will bring the BP back into line.

We are having an absolutely gorgeous day here today! I am photographing a broken seashell all day. This is an assignment for the digital photography class I am taking. We are to pick something and photograph it several times during the day without a flash. This is an exercise in lighting. I put a small towel on the counter with two cork coasters. Each time I put my elbows on the coasters. It would be better with a tripod but I don't have a good one and I would be afraid of knocking it over. I am such a klutz. DH is under orders not to move the towel or coasters!

Ok, tell me all that happens when they are rolled.
I know they move back to the next class.
What is H company and what goes on there?
Where are they living? Are they in the same room as before with the same hatchmate?
Where do we send mail? I can't put on there 15-10 anymore!!

wade142, I know how you feel. I'm new to this site and it has been sooooo helpful to me in this very trying time. Hang in there and talk it up on this site. I have been a basket case and my LO left last Friday. I have cried at the drop of a hat. It's hard to see them leave. I really don't have any words of wisdom right now because I am going through something similar. Good Luck to your daughter and to you.

Good Morning Everyone,
Need some help again! Yesterday my LO got rolled along with several others.
What happens now?

Joanne,
Well I hope your choice is the right one!!! I'll be sure to keep that movie off my list!! Thanks for the tip!!
All the years growing up in Northeast Ohio, we would always have a big festival when it's maple syrup time. And because it is during this end of winter, beginning of spring, when the maple trees "wake up" we'd generally always have the worst weather for the festival. Just a year or so back it was completely closed down because of snow!!!

Blondie,
Sounds like you got so much done today!! I know that has to make you feel better!!!

Yes Pat, we have rain today!! I was able to take my two mile walk this morning and after I finished my shower and looked outside the rain was just pouring down. See God knows I need to get some exercise in so he held the rain off just for me!!!

Have you all heard about the special Outback is doing in March? Order off a special menu and they donate money to support troops and their families. Plus hubby said the other day he heard vets get a free bloomin onion in March. We're going to go there for dinner this Saturday!!
