Hahaha! - I was obsessed too! We had zero idea what to expect so I tried to read and watch everything just to get some sense of what she was going through on a daily basis! I 2nd JayDee's idea of getting involved w/ the bc and division mom's group. You'll get a ton of valuable info for PIR too. Hope you get to go - it's an amazing experience! Don't be shy to ask questions, there are lots of moms here with lots of experience! Sending you and your girl a navy mom hug : )

Yes I am...I think lol am really just wandering around this site reading etc. as I am pretty new to this, just reading everything I can.  I know that getting past the 2 week mark is huge...Now on to Marlinspike. :)

Susan I did about the same thing!  Are you also a member of boot camp moms?  They have groups that are division based and the admins do an incredible job of keeping you up to speed.  I knew about when to expect a call from my daughter because other mom's in the division would start posting when they got calls.  All helpful info.

At 16 days you're close to 1/4 way through boot camp!  Hooray!  Hang in there momma.  What's she going to do after boot camp?

Good Morning all its 01/29/2020.  Its been 16 days since my daughter was sworn in.  I've heard from her 2 times for reasons can't discuss but the second phone call was not 100% scripted.  I've learned approximately where she is at in the process by watching the videos on this site.  I watch 1 or more daily to get a really good idea what she is going through so I can relate and be upbeat for her.  So far shes passing first round :)  Anyone else feel like they are obsessed? lol

End of March, early April sounds good bbcregular!

Orleander, I do have my locations mixed up. Thought one of our Navy Moms lived near Phoenix. Yes, I will be in Vegas the last week in March and first week in April. We will have our Sailor with us also!! Will make contact with you then.

Anna, maybe our traveling will cross paths soon. I have been enjoying Arizona a lot. Got 3 more weeks here before we head to Palm Springs.

Comment by Oleander on January 28, 2020 at 2:37am

Hi Anna - me too! Can't wait to see you and catch up!

Comment by Anna on January 27, 2020 at 9:09pm

Oleander,

We are still planning to come see you in early May, wish it could be when you are there bbcregular!!!

Comment by Oleander on January 27, 2020 at 9:55am

Good morning navy moms! I hope everyone is well and that all of our sailors are safe.

bbcregular - I'm in Las Vegas, which is about 5 hours from Phoenix. Do I remember you saying you're coming this way? I've had the pleasure of meeting a few of these incredible moms and there's something about the face to face and an in person navy mom hug that strengthens our mom-bonds. So yes please - I'd love to meet you!
