Anna, he is in the Naval Aircrew Candidate School House.  My daughter's friend from high school just graduated from the school and she is a Marine.

Hi Mamabear! I still check in here from time to time. It was such a help when Molly was in BC. I would have enjoyed meeting in Jax. Who knows where she'll go next?? We might meet up yet. :) Looking forward to going out there and seeing where she is. She is really in her element there, working in the hospital.

Anna, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your daughter.  I can only imagine the trauma felt by your daughter after that horrifying act!  My cousin is also in Pensacola as a marine, and it has effected him greatly too.  BNMH

Love to you all and a Merry Christmas!!

Ladies, thank you so much/  It helps just to share my feelings with other Navy Moms who understand.  I told Jennifer she had many Navy Moms sending her love and support and she said - Awwww thank you!!!!

It has been a sad and crazy past several days for our Navy Bases!! Virginia, Pearl, Pensacola.  We need to step up prayers for our country and our military.

bbcregular,

I'm glad you're enjoying your travels.  So when are you going to be in Vegas!?!?! There is this rumor that several Navy Moms you may know are going to be in that area in May!!!!! Give my love to your daughter in Pearl for me.  Having these drills may just have to be a normal precaution for now.  We never expect that stuff like this could happen until it does.

Oleander,

So glad you had Thanksgiving with your girl.  I bet you are going to have fun with that little grandson!!!

JayDee,

Sorry your SIL and daughter will be separated for the holiday!!  We will be in Florida tomorrow and down to Pensacola in a few days!!

Molly's Proud Mom,

Hubby and I spent the winter of 2015 in Jacksonville!!  We enjoyed being there. There's a lot to do!!  Will be driving through there tomorrow on our way to Lake City, FL!!

Thanks for all your love and support - I'll be giving each and every hug to Jennifer - and a few more from me!!!! Love to all of you and your sailors!!!
