Hubby and I watched "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" tonight. I wasn't expecting that ending. We thought it was very good, though.

I don't care for that kind of language either. Sometimes it makes it hard for me to follow the storyline.

I like murder mysteries but have not heard of any movie out today. I do not go to the movie theater too often. The last movie I saw was Night at the Smithsonian Museum. It was pretty good. Sorry but the main reason I don't go to too many movies is the bad language. Many of the movies would be good without the cussing. Guess I was raised differently.

My daughter's bf has never herd of Tank Girl w/Lori Petty or Cool World w/Brad Pitt, from the 80's & 90's so that is what is coming from Netflix today.

Carol's Kitchen - Are you the one who lives in southern Illinois? There seems to be two Carols. I wondered because I'm coming to St. Louis next week.
We finished "Little Dorrit" tonight. I would highly recommend it. It was very good and it's so much easier watching Dickens than reading Dickens.

No, I'm in MN, the Twin Cities area.

Willette, I refuse to go to movie theaters any more for the reasons you describe. It always seems like the one eating popcorn the loudest and/or who likes to kick the back of seats sits closest to me. One of my newspapers used to give out free tickets. They did it for the Postman and I'm sure glad I didn't have to pay for that! My sailor was still pretty young and the kid behind us kept bothering him and his parents didn't do anything about it because their child is just so darn cute, doncha' know.
Carol, do you live near St.Louis?

For classic's it's the original PETER PAN with Mary Martin, I saw it in the movie theater when I was young and then when it came to VCR I had to have a copy. My grandchildren would 'dance like the indians' !! so funny, they were just 3 & 4. JAM is now my Navy girl(22) and brother John is in college.(21) I wish I had taken pictures!!

I heard of a good Christian movie called 'Jonathan Sperry' and it came out Friday in movie houses around the country. So far I have not seen it advertised in any around me but it is suppose to me very inspirational and many who see it want to know more about God and Jesus. Have any of you seen it and where?

Hubby and I went to see Sorority Row tonight. It was a good movie. The only bad thing, there was a group of kids who talked and laughed through the whole movie. It was distracting to say the least. That is why I don't go to the movies often.

My daughter and her friends went to see the 9 and said it was pretty good. This is a 13 year old critic of the movie. It did not look like a movie I would like.
