I have a son who is aircrew currently deployed, and another one in bootcamp with a PIR of 11/13/09 also going for aircrew. I am an RN doing home infusions in AZ. I have been a member here but haven't really been acitve for a bit and I guess I am back for the support w/ my second son going through the bootcamp and whole process again!

Roadrunnin: I don't know how I like it. I do not start until mid Oct. I believe the online program is for me. I will let you know. I am do to start on my wedding anniversary. The healthcare administration sounds very interesting.

Hello RoadrunninNayMom, welcome to the group. That is so cool that you & Fish15 are both nurse's and have recruits in the same division. My kids have been out of boot camp for a while now so if you have any questions, ask away. That goes for anyone here with a recruit in boot camp.

My daughter is the prissy type & was a cheerleader for many years so when she graduated and said it wasn't so bad, I said is this my daughter????

Roadrunnin, Hey, I just sent you a rather long note a little bit ago. Now as I read your last comment I see that our lives cross in so many ways. I am originally from Virginia (Portsmouth born and raised). I love homecare but I am not in that right now. Next year, if all goes well, I will be working on my BSN, and our sons are in the same Div at bootcamp ( how odd is that)!

Hello Everyone!! My son is currently in Boot Camp with a PIR date of 11/6/09. I am an RN here in southwest Virginia. I have been working in Home Health since 1998, and am currently exploring new career options because I have finally finished my BS in Health Sciences!!! I am planning on going on to get my MS in Healthcare Administration, probably starting in January!! I think keeping myself busy will help to keep my mind off of what my son is doing and the fact that he is not at home!! It's nice to meet all of you!!

Army/Navy: I see that you are are doing your BSN thru Ohio University. How are you liking it so far? I have just finished my BS in Health Sciences and have applied to Ohio University for the Masters in Healthcare Administration program, which is also totally online. The university where I got the BS from doesn't offer a totally online program, so it is more cumbersome for those who are working while attending school. I would love to hear from you about the school and such. Thanks!!

Hello gang, well i've made it to week 4 of my BSN program. I've already had 3 exams and will have my first skills exam tomorrow. Loving all of it, even the stress. It's been a great distraction for me. My son left for camp 10 days ago. Hope you're all doing well.
